Victorious!

Look out, Rice U quiz bowl teams. The Jones Seniors stormed to their first victory this Monday night, demolishing Team Lovett in a 115-55 rout. The JIBA seniors held the Lovett schmucks scoreless in the first half. Where was this clout in our first three games? Perhaps a late-season surge will land us in the playoffs... Hey, you never know.

The Cincinnati Bengals are playing in their first Monday Night Football game since 1986 against the Denver Broncos as I write this entry. That's almost 20 years of mediocrity! Lo and behold, they are winning by a 20-10 score at the start of the fourth quarter. Maybe this will be a winning night for two mediocre teams: Jones Seniors and the Cinci Bengals! On a very important side note, I will be in attendance on the frigid afternoon of January 2, 2005 as the hometown Philadelphia Eagles DESTROY these very same Bengals thanks to my amazing girlfriend, who acquired these ultra-hard-to-find tix. Thank you -- you're gonna love the game!

OK, back to studying neurobiology. With the way they emphasize the importance of calcium as a second messenger in neurochemistry, you'd think it was the Hope Diamond!

P.S. The sophomore ablum from Simple Plan, entitled "Still Not Getting Any," is released nationwide tomorrow. Yeah!
